Darryl "D" Diptee
Darryl Diptee is a US Navy Lieutenant currently serving as the Communications officer and Security Manager at Electronic Attack Squadron One Three Eight located on Whidbey Island, Washington. His almost two decades of military experience has taken him around the world on various missions to include the Middle East, the Far East, and North America. LT Diptee gained his Naval commission via the prestigious Seaman to Admiral Program where he completed a degree in Computer Science along with a Masters in Aeronautical Science. He was subsequently selected to complete a PhD under the National Security Agency's Information Assurance Scholarship Program and presented various pieces of his work in Germany, Italy, Canada, Estonia, and throughout the United States. He has a passion for designing human-centric solutions that tackle "messy" social challenges. As a resident expert of the Stanford Design Thinking process, he has used his talents to design concepts to combat depression and suicide in the military and civilian world.
