John Hawley
John Hawley is a US Navy Lieutenant currently serving as the Cybersecurity Officer at Naval Information Forces located in Suffolk, Virginia, working on a top-tier project to educate worldwide Naval Leadership about cybersecurity. He has completed deployments to the Middle East in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE as well as served as the Commanding Officer's go-to Officer of the Deck for disaster relief efforts off the coast of Japan for Fukushima during OPERATION TOMODACH.
LT Hawley graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VA Tech) in 2009; Sigma Lambda Chi International Construction Honor Society (top 10%). While there, he also attained Real Estate and Leadership minors. His Naval commission is from the Virginia Tech ROTC program.
