Peter "PT" O'Neill
Peter O'Neill is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force currently serving as the Airfield Operations Flight Commander at Mountain Home Air Force Base where he oversees 130 tower and radar air traffic controllers, airfield management personnel, and air traffic control and landing system maintainers and operators. He has spent two years overseas in South Korea and two years in South Carolina. Additionally, he served six months in Kuwait where he simultaneously ran three airfields including the "bare-base" stand up of Al-Jaber airbase, Kuwait's Joint/Coalition combat strike HUB. He graduated from Seattle University where he studied Biology and Physics while attending ROTC at the University of Washington and has recently completed his Master's Degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution. His personal awards include the 366th Fighter Wing Lance P. Sijan Junior Officer of the Year 2015 (#1 of 252), Air Combat Command's Airfield Operations Officer of the Year 2014 (#1 of 52), the 366th Fighter Wing Company Grade Officer of the Year 2014 (#1 of 239) and the United States Air Force Commendation Medal (x2).
